MFS (Moran Freight Services) was established in Dublin in the early 1970’s. Since then the company has experienced significant organic growth and is now recognized as a major player both within the key Trans UK – Ireland transport sector and Europe – Ireland / UK sector , we have also have developed a reputation for quality service provision on a global basis.

Locations in UK & Ireland

Our company Head Office is located at Rathcoole, Dublin which also houses our modern Republic of Ireland Warehousing and Distribution Centre. The facility was purpose built to our specific requirements in 2006, and includes extensive terminal handling and bonded warehousing facilities.

Driven by customer demand, over recent years we have extended the MFS brand into the UK by opening depots at Crick Northampton and Antrim, Northern Ireland.
When coupled with our Dublin Terminal this provides us with a comprehensive UK & Ireland Distribution network.

European Locations

We are based in all the major European countries – Holland, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and Austria and this has been a major growth sector for our company offering clients the options of full, part loads and Groupage from all across Europe to both Ireland and the UK.

Whilst the market remains extremely competitive we feel that having the added benefit of our own Irish & UK Depots and our European partners depots  provides us with a commercial advantage over our competitors. We therefore offer MFS Freight Services to you as a dedicated ‘in house’ Irish, UK and European service provider.

Successful Even During Economic Downturn

Throughout the recent period of our development we have established niche market sectors, which include amongst others our Consumer Electronics Distribution, Pharmaceutical Division and Retail Distribution.

MFS Freight Services, despite current economic downturns have continued to deliver encouraging financial figures. However challenges have dictated constant cost reduction reviews. Application of these measures has ensured delivery of positive reporting figures. Throughout this process our clients have not experienced any deviation in agreed service levels.
